"Vision is the world's most desperate need.
There are no hopeless situations,
only people who think hopelessly."
--- Winifred Newman

Where there is no vision, the people perish ... Proverbs 29:18

WINTER 2002 Advertising Flyer

There, but for the grace of God, go I.

FROM:  SPIRITUAL PLANE (power of Christ in you)
TO:  Christians, everywhere

Before your increased knowledge & religious experiences make you overly self-confident, REMEMBER:

ADAM was in Paradise when he fell.
SOLOMON actually gazed upon the glory of God, yet he fell.
LUCIFER himself was once in Heaven pouring out praise to God, before he fell.

So do not presume it cannot happen to you.  Be bold, but never brash or arrogant in your prayer life.  Use your spiritual authority administratively, compassionately, but never presumptuously.

"...But there was found in a small city a poor, wise man & he delivered the city by his wisdom."  -  Eccl. 9:15

SPIRITUAL VICTORY

The Devil:
- resists us in prayer, and our faith turned weak.
- knows most Christians fail to discern his assault.
- undermines relationships, and our love grew cautious.
- deteriorates the minister's call from a walk of vision to a mere job.

     The real villian is not sin, but ignorance.  Zeal by itself challenges the treachery of Hell and loses.

"...become wise "as serpents" yet innocent and harmless "as doves". - Matthew 10:16

TRANSFORMED PAIN

I asked for strength that I might achieve;

He made me meek that I might obey.

I asked for health that I might do greater things;

I was given grace that I might do better things.

I asked for riches that I might be happy;

I was given poverty that I might be wise.

I asked for power that I might have the praise of men;

I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.

I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;

I was given life that I might enjoy all things.

I received nothing that I asked for, all that I hoped for.

My prayer was answered.
