FORMAT Class Lessons
1) HURT - Long-term effects of substance abuse, what we have viewed as "normal" (an abnormal reaction to an abnormal situation is normal) isn't, low-cost/free medical assistance.
2) HEAL - Physical therapy, proper diet (shopping, calculating calories & cooking), applying for food stamps, proper rest, stress management.
3) HEART - Yoga stretches (warm-up), learn how to monitor your heart rate during exercise (aerobic), karate stretches (cool-down), & personal hygiene.
4) HOPE - Develop a long-term weight loss / weight-lifting (anerobic) goal & a Wellness program to get you there, find a work-out buddy with the same or similar goals.
5) HAVE - Getting a private place to work out, meditate and get well, a fitness wardrobe, equipment, & bicycle as transportation.
6) HELP - Motivate someone in developing & reaching their own personal "Wellness Program" and physical fitness goals.
