FORMAT Class Lessons
1) HURT - Realize that in the past your lack of education or unrealized goals might not have been ALL your fault.
2) HEAL - Learn English, to read/write, get your GED. Learn how to navigate the local library and become computer-literate.
3) HEART - Take a vocational Skills Assessment Test to help find a better, less-stressful career path for yourself. Develop good study habits.
4) HOPE - Think about going to a local Vo-Tech, learning a trade or going to college to get your degree. Do what you love for a living. Strive to be self-employed, if that is your goal.
5) HAVE- A nice, quiet place to study while going to school. Get the things you need for school early, not at the last minute. Be on time and read ahead of the class, so you won't be left behind anymore.
6) HELP - Find a "study buddy", so you can help each other. As you get more advanced, find someone to tutor in your best subject. Join a club that will help further your career, network with people in your field, that might help with your career.
